Doctor...who?

himekohimuraFinally watched the newest Doctor Who. I still haven't quite warmed up to Donna, but I may get there. The end of the episode was convincing if not amazingly done by Kate.
I was actually moved by Kate's performance. I getting teary for a second when she begged for their lives and the Doctor's reasonings. Another hint at the return of Rose. I was hoping for the whole 'Rose in every episode' much like they do in Trigun with the Black Cat, but w/e. She wouldn't randomly be in Pompeii anyway.
I found the end, when she's talking about saving someone; just someone and not everyone. It reminded me of Stargate Atlantis for a moment. I think Tayla said that, in the second to the last (?) episode of the first season. I wonder if maybe they were influenced by that? Just an observation.
My computer broke, so I have no means of subbing. I mean, I could do it on my vista, but it sucks when I do it that way. But thankfully I have back-up ^_^ I'm gonna see if a sys.recovery will help before I put it to rest.
