Anime and Drama reviews

Monochrome Factor - Somewhat Yaoi but not really. In order to beat the bad 'shadows' the man character has to transform into a shadow himself. My summary leaves much to be desired, but the boy-kissing makes me squee a lot. Of course, I'm not quite sure if Shirogane could be consider a boy, since he's rather...girly and is wearing lipstick. Am I the only one who thinks 'Duo' when you see him? Must be the braid *dead*
Special A - Not my usual anime, but I've come to like it. Takishima is number one and it's Hikari's goal to one day beat him. Obvious that they love each other, but I'd like to see it happen. I am somewhat reminded of Host Club, but only because of the art.
Vampire Knight - I don't like the font that the people who subbed this used. It's distracting and a bit hard on the eyes. Nonetheless, the anime itself is worth watching. As per the title, it's about Vampires. A school that has two different classes, Night classes and Day classes. I'm sure you can figure out which one the Vampires go to. It's Yuuki and Zero's job to make sure the two never meet. Except, of course, during official fangirl times. Nice art and I like the concept. I might use it in a fic one day.
Amatsuki - A high school boy is transported into Bakumatsu Edo and is promptly attacked by otherworldly beings. I'm not sure how good this one is going to be, but it looks promising.
Nabari no Ou - From what I've seen, this looks like a good anime. I'm reminded of Naruto, but in a good way. Miharu holds a powerful book of ninjitsu in his body, but all he wants to do is live a normal life. His teacher and his classmate try to convince him otherwise as a group of ninja, the Ash Wolf group, try to take the book by force.
Dramas
Zettai Kareshi - Nothing like the manga. Well, it follows the same storyline, but it doesn't take place in High School. I'm not sure how much I'm going to like it but I'm sure I'll warm up to it considering the cast and my love of anything by Watase Yuu. Hiro is making me fall more and more in love with him. His cuteness and hotness only goes up. But knowing what's going to happen in the end is depressing me. By the way, naked Mokomichi is fucking sexy. My favorite lines: "Ecchi shio yo!" and "Issho ni nerou yo!" NEXT EPISODE = CONFRONTATION *waits eagerly*
Last Friends - Watching Ryo-chan beat the crap out of Masami is amusing. I get what the theme is, but it seems like something is missing. Actually, a lot seems to be missing. I mean, Ryo-chan's doing a good job of being psycho, but I think Masami isn't playing her part well because I'm not convinced. It all seems so...fake.
Ones I haven't watched yet but looking forward to: ROOKIES, Gokusen 3, Puzzle
Rookies has Yuu-chan in it and Gokusen 3 looks like it'll be interesting despite the young cast. I just want to see how well Kiriyama Akito and Takaki Yuya does. I only want to watch Puzzle 'cause it has that ESP guy as a main. I like him and want to see how he does in a different character.
Hopefully I'll be able to follow along with these as they come out. With finals coming up in two weeks, I'm not sure I can...
