my first week in japan.
Jan. 16th, 2007 09:33 pmJapan is like, the best ever. And teaching isn't all that bad either, but I think if I had little kids for the rest of my teaching career, I might go and kill myself. Then again, I'm not planning on being a teacher for more than a year or so. I wanna do translating or interpreting as soon as possible.

Anyway. Yeah. Stuff that I didn't think existed exists. Like those little faucets that turn upside down and it becomes like a water fountain? Yeah. They actually have those things. And the teacher rooms are exactly like how they look like in dramas. And even the principal/rijicho's room looks like it should. Almost like the one in Gachibaka~ The students rooms are the same as well ^-^ With the sliding doors and they clean stuff and stuff like that ^-^ It was a very interesting experience.
The kids are so much better than our own students. Like, more disiplined as stuff. And very cute ^-^ I got to help with the teaching and stuff. Had to say how old I was, what my name is and that I'm a college student. I got some interesting questions back; the most interesting being 'what's my type.' Of course, I said Johnnys ^-^

Anyway, other than that, I got to go to Hakone Jinja and SAW MOUNT FUJI. I almost cried, because, like, Mt. Fuji is the symbol of japan and everything, so it's like OMG when you see it. ^_^
For now, I guess that's it. I'll probably talk more about it another day, but for now ^-^
